This is a web site created and maintained by Wei Wu, mainly for blogging and hosting items on various topics that are of interest to me.

Just in case some of my old friends and old classmates come across to this site by chance or searching, here are some brief info about me.

I came from Shanghai, China. Attended high school at Fudan FuZhong (复旦附中 ), or the high school attached to Fudan University, from 1978-1982. (Junior high 初中 1978-1980, high school 高中 1980-1982) Attended college at Physics Department in Fudan University, (复旦大学物理系82级) 1982-1986. From 1986-1992, did graduate study in physics and got a Ph.D. from Physics Department in New York University (NYU).

After science career in graduate school, I moved to Wall Street doing quantitative research in financial field mainly in the fixed income market.

My interests include: Finance, Trading, Computer, Electronic Gadgets, Science and topics related to China.
